WebI wouldn't necessarily recommend mixing the two brands. Aside from their meltablity, the quality of the mini beads varies too widely between the two brands. I purchased the entire hama mini pallet and found that the beads are not uniform in height and seem to be poorly cut, and otherwise of an almost "smaller seeming" bead than the perler minis.

Now, I wasn’t 100% sure if you could mix the two different bead types on one project. I’ve heard they mixed well, but melting beads can be tricky, and different companies’ beads have different melting points.
