Either that or play in windowed instead of windowed borderless. Or even better - fullscreen mode. WebYou see stuttering even at high fps because freesync isn't working. From my experience, it won't work with FFXIV unless it's in fullscreen mode. My monitor has a refresh rate indicator. I can see it fluctuating and properly synced to fps when I'm in fullscreen, but switching to borderless or windowed it'll stay at maximum (144hz in my case).
WebAs far as I know, the reason why you may experience stutter and shitty framerate is because sometimes when playing games in borderless fullscreen with g-sync on, the g-sync decides to sync to your windows (desktop) framerate which is really low.
