WebJun 12, 2024 · Finally i solved this problem by cutting a tiny rectangular strip of electrical tape (other types of tape may work as well) and inserted one end into the Lightning receptacle on my iPad so that the adhesive side would cover the flat interior of the receptacle on the side where the connecting pins are NOT located.

Place some surgical gauze or a piece of a screen cleaning wipe over the port and pushed it in using the lightning cable head. The gauze or wipe traps the dirt and grime clogging the port’s insides. WebTurn off your iPhone and disconnect the charger Try blowing compressed air into the port and see if it will charge If compressed air doesn’t work, try clearing debris with a toothpick You might need to alternate between compressed air and the toothpick to completely remove lint from the charging port. Be careful to avoid damaging the contacts.
