This methane transmittance is calculated as the ratio between the reflectance at a spectral channel affected by methane absorption and a methane-free reference band. WebThe inventory includes estimates for carbon dioxide (CO 2 ), methane (CH 4 ), nitrous oxide (N 2 O), and fluorinated gases with high global warming potentials (High-GWP) which includes hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), sulfur hexafluoride (SF 6 ), and nitrogen trifluoride (NF 3 ).
