Web22 mrt. 2024 · Look towards the front of the seat cushion and there should be two bolts that hold the cushion to the seat frame. If you have heated seats there will be a wire going to the bottom cushion, be careful not to snap it. You'll see a place on the wire where it can be unhooked, if the wire isn't long enough to just set the cushion aside. Hope this helps. Web4 jul. 2024 · I have a 2011 Suburban. Driving home on a 1,000 mile trip, my wife, sitting in the front passenger seat, reclined (power) the seat to take a nap. When she woke up she went to move the seatback up, it wouldn't budge. Right now the motor will run when you try to recline the seat, but it sounds as if it's stripped out.

The seat bottom only seems to be held in place (rather weakly, I might add) by some mechanism at the pivot point. It seems like this hook is there to keep it locked down, but mine doesn't.
