Web3 nov. 2024 · Myfortic is used with other medicines containing cyclosporine (Sandimmune, Gengraf, and Neoral) and corticosteroids. Myfortic can be used to prevent rejection in children who are 5 years or older and are stable after having a kidney transplant. It is not known if Myfortic is safe and works in children younger than 5 years. Patients will be randomized to receive Myfortic® 1,440 mg/day vs. Cellcept® 2,000 mg/day, each in two divided doses (induced with either the IL-2 receptor inhibitors or thymoglobulin).
