It is definitely louder than the non-NPP exhaust, and it sounds healthy, but it also sounds (from the driver's seat, at least) a lot like every other V6 out there with a modified exhaust. I think the only way to get rid of rasp is to go to an older type fiber packed muffler but they just burn themselves out over time.
