SpletGas is better for recoil. Either should cycle any standard ammo. You cant go wrong with a benelli. Inertia (either Browning A5 or SBE 1, 2, or 3) is much better. The only gas gun worth mentioning is a Benelli M4 or Beretta a400. If you go 1301, check out the LTT, or make sure you get the 2nd gen one. I honestly couldn't tell a big difference between the two shooting field loads. I mean obviously was some, especially considering one was a 12 and the other was a 20, but it wasn't much.
